Information is power, or so it is said. Information about what the Town's administration is doing and how it is doing it is vital to our ability to oversee our government and its effect on the quality of life we can have in our town.

Information in the hands of citizens provides the opportunity to evaluate how our town is being administered in our stead and may provide truly concerned citizens with the impetus to effect appropriate changes.

Www.wethersfield.net ( W.N ) presents the citizens of Wethersfield information about the Town of Wethersfield which might not be easily found on other sites concerning our town.

Again, W.N envisions this as a community effort. We attempt to gather digital information from the Town of Wethersfield's administrative staff, departments, boards and commissions, and the town council and board of education, and then we present it here.

We do not attempt to act as a repository for "old" information, which should be the responsibility of the Town and BOE administrations to officially archive it.
