I'm glad we have an immigrant nation,
Without immigrants, the U.S. would have no creation
Each and every person is unique
From each and every mountain peak
It doesn't matter the color of your skin,
What really matters is what's within
Our ancestors came from all around,
Their ideas and customs make the world go 'round
I'm glad the U.S. has many religions
It shows we can all be one with many divisions
Immigrants come here to be free
And to live in harmony
Immigrants give us good devices,
Like silk, fur, foods and spices
Immigrants may help us find ways
To make the U.S. last for many days
So now you see what immigrants do,
Because of them, there's me and you.
