1. (l-r) Jeanne Freeman and Nora Uricchio, communicants at Sacred Heart Church in Old Wethersfield, help provide accompaniment for the singing during the vigil.

2. Thad Terzo of Manchester, CT, Music and Choir Director of Sacred Heart Church, filled out the trio on the electric keyboard. The sound system was provided by Craig C. Czajkowski of Rocky Hill.

3. The US Veterans color guard presented the US and State flags.

4. Somber and sincere these Wethersfield neighbors joined in the rememberance.

4. The Mayor of the Town of Wethersfield, CT, Kitch Czernicki offered her reflections, including: "Perhaps they are not stars not but rather openings in Heaven - where the love of our lost ones shines down to let us know they are with us. Perhaps tonight as we begin to shine right back we will send a message to those we have lost - that we are forever changed - but in the changing we have come to recognize and appreciate the goodness of each person and our hope for a better future".
