The Mayor of the Town of Wethersfield, CT, Kitch Czernicki offered her reflections, including: "Perhaps they are not stars not but rather openings in Heaven - where the love of our lost ones shines down to let us know they are with us. Perhaps tonight as we begin to shine right back we will send a message to those we have lost - that we are forever changed - but in the changing we have come to recognize and appreciate the goodness of each person and our hope for a better future".
