The Wait is Over; They're IN!
Wethersfield, Ct--
With only 1,000 copies in the first printing, the Flags of Wethersfield, a post-9/11, memorial cookbook, will quickly become a collector's item locally. The Keane Foundation engaged this project to promote its challenging, lofty goal of creating a Richard M. Keane memorial Sports Center in Wethersfield, for the benefit of all people in town. Judy Keane, wife of Richard Keane (lost in the NYC 9/11 tragedy) modestly describes the cookbook as having 660 recipes arranged in 8 sections and offering potentially "mouth -watering" creations. The recipes were gathered from several hundred Wethersfield residents and other friends of the Keane Foundation. This special cookbook will on sale for only $20. Illustrations include pictures of flags flying in and around Wethersfield this past autumn during the height of our patriotic fervor and indignation over the terrorist attacks on our country. For those who have become collectors of 9/11 - related memorabilia, it will become a must have first edition. The cookbook is a slice of time capturing in print for posterity the culinary interests of many in Wethersfield. It will join other memorable texts of and about our favorite community in Connecticut. As promised, the cookbooks are currently available in and around Wethersfield [now at...]. (but, when originally posted, at:
