Each year since 2003, Michael James Daversa ("Mikey") is remembered by immediate and extended families of the Daversa's and Huffman's and their friends in Wethersfield. Though Mikey did not live to reach his third birthday, he was a blessing to his family and the people who came to know him directly or through his loving extended families.

Christmas is the time we Christians remember the gift of God in his only Son our Lord, Jesus Christ, and all of the hope which His birth implied. We annually celebrate His birth and reaffirm our belief His sacrifice for all of us on the Cross - making whole again our relations with the Father.

The family and friends of Mikey Daversa, in what has become an annual celebration, reaffirm our belief that Mikey, though not in body with us now, has been made whole in the Father through our Savior. We celebrate Mikey's healing through Jesus at this time of His birth.

In the darkness of a winter evening, we reaffirm the Light of the World and raise our voices to make a joyful noise to the Lord.
